  • A: Neck & Shoulders
  • B: Back Strap
  • C: Rib Cage Belt
  • D: Chest Strap
  • E: Current Collar Neck Size

See the simple silhouette measurement guide to show where to measure your pup for each of these measurements.

Measuring Tips:

  1. The tape measure should be snug, but not tight (similar to how you measure for a collar)
  2. A: Neck & Shoulder - The correct place to measure should be below where their current collar sits and above the top of your dog's shoulders. Begin measuring in the area just below where your dog normally wears their collar.  This measurement goes all the way around their neck.  It will likely be 2-3 inches bigger than their neck size for their collar.
  3. B: Back Strap - Measure from the back of your dog's neck where the harness neck piece will sit and stretch to where your dog's harness belt will sit on their back.
  4. C: Rib Cage Belt - Measure your dog around the widest part of their rib cage where you want the harness belt to sit on their back.  Please be sure that you are not measuring right behind their armpits - you should have an inch or two behind their front legs for a more comfortable fit.  This measurement goes all the way around their rib cage.
  5. D: Chest Strap - Measure from where the neck and shoulder piece will sit beginning in the middle of their chest area between their shoulders to the bottom of their rib cage where the harness belt will sit.
  6. E: Current Collar Neck Size: This is the size of collar that your pet currently wears.
